About me

Hi Everyone,

I hope that your day is good, but if not maybe this blog will make you smile.

I am in my 30′, originally from Poland, but have been living abroad for the last 7 years.

Shortly after my studies ( master degree in history :/) I was left with a big bank loan and no career perspective.                                                                             One day I bought a plain ticket and went to London. I got a job in a Lebanese restaurant then an italian restaurant working my butt off working, hating it and praying for a miracle.

…and it happened

I got an office job as an Event Coordinator in a London hotel and life changed.      In the meantime I met a French guy ( story, like from a movie) whom I have married after six years. Last year my husband and I have moved to Paris.                         We are now trying to put the puzzle together so we could start a family and provide the best life we can for ourselves and our children.                                       My journey in France is basically…starting from ZERO.

Leaving London was hard- I left my job (that I loved so much), the security and comfort of the life that I used to have. Here in France… Everything is different. When I came to London, I was in my twenties, energetic and motivated. Now I am anxious and worried  of what the future holds.

I have started this blog to write about happy things:food, health & fitness, inspirations of the new life and I hope you will like it 🙂

What an interesting life! I love Paris very much, but living in a foreign country would be an adjustment for me too. I am sure that with time you will feel at ease and more at home in France. I look forward to learning more about your journeys, and thank you for stopping by my blog.
By the way, my boyfriend of over 6 years is also French 🙂 His grandma is from Brittany.
